1. The moisture content of the board is too high to cause whitening. The reasons for the high moisture content of the board are: first, the moisture content of the board itself is high; second, the moisture content of the board is increased because of the moisture in the surrounding environment.

2. During the construction, the humidity is high and the temperature is low, so the water vapor is not easy to release and cause whitening.

3. Construction is too thick, the moisture in the board is not easy to release, resulting in water vapor retention in the paint film and cause whitening.

4. With high humidity and low temperature, water vapor seeps into the paint film and accumulates in the film, causing whitening.

5. Paint with more powder and poor transparency is used.

Generally speaking, paint whitening is caused by a combination of various reasons.

In the areas of Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hunan and Fujian, the whiteness in winter is caused by the imbalance between the moisture content of the board and the moisture content of the surrounding environment, the mutual penetration of water and the retention of water in the paint film.

2、 Treatment of paint whitening problem:

1. For the whitening caused by water vapor, the whitening symptoms will be eliminated by slowly blowing around the white spots with an air duct for a few minutes. With the rise of temperature and the decrease of humidity, the moisture content of the plate and the surrounding area will be balanced. Finally, the whitening will be reduced, and the slight one will be eliminated.

2. For the whitening that cannot be eliminated, the following methods are recommended: brush the whitening water provided by our company on the whitened surface to ensure that the surface is in a wetting state for 1-3 hours, so that the whitening water can penetrate into the paint film for a long time, so as to bring out the water; after 1-3 hours, the surface of the paint film shall be cleaned up, and after the paint film is dry, polish and then apply the paint again The phenomenon can be eliminated.

(Note: when using the method of "2", it is better to choose the treatment after the humidity and temperature have returned to normal, otherwise there will be the possibility of whitening again. Only when the moisture content of the plate and the outside reaches the balance, will the whitening not appear again.)

3、 Prevention of paint whitening:

1. Select the low moisture content of the board, generally below 12%, as far as possible in 10%. The moisture content of the board should be well treated before the construction.

2. Do not operate in the condition of high humidity and low temperature.

3. The construction should not be too thick, especially one-time thick coating, especially the construction method of pouring the paint on it should not be used.

4. Choose the primer with low powder and good transparency. Generally, the primer contains fillers, which are hydrophilic and easy to combine with water. The primer with good transparency does not contain fillers or the content of fillers is small.

5. Strengthen after-sales service. More guidance should be given to guide them to construct correctly. It's better to test the moisture content of the board before painting (wood moisture tester is sold for more than 200 yuan on the market)
